SDG 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities aims to make cities inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable
SDG 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities underpins many of our Scholar projects. Firstly, Maria del Carmen Redondo Bermudez is completing a study of sustainable plant barriers to combat air pollution. The global south is the focus of this study.
Similarly, Jonathan Sykes‘s project looks at how to deal with uncertainty in complex environmental simulations. Finally, Carolyn Auma is examining the impact of rural-to-urban migration on the sustainability of urban diets in sub-Saharan Africa.
