Professor Peter Jackson

Co-Director of the Institute for Sustainable Food

Peter Jackson is Professor of Human Geography in the Department of Geography at the University of Sheffield. His research focuses on commodity culture and the geography of consumption with a particular interest in food.

He is co-Director of the University ‘s Institute for Sustainable Food, principal investigator of the H3 project (Healthy soil, Healthy food, Healthy people), and a member of Defra’s Social Science Expert Group.

Peter is also a Co-I on the Many Happy Returns project.
