Nicolas Martin is a Clinical Professor in Restorative Dentistry at the School of Clinical Dentistry, University of Sheffield (UK).
He has a strong personal research interest on sustainability, the clinical performance of restorative systems and knowledge exchange through pedagogy.
Nicolas is a member of the Plastics: Redefining Single-Use team, where he supports research into waste reduction and moving society towards more environmentally sustainable healthcare. He leads on a series of sustainability projects in healthcare, with dentistry as a case study environment.
He holds the position of Sustainability Expert for the World Dental Federation (FDI) on sustainable dentistry and is a member of the Energy Institute.
