Peter Fuzesi was one of our Post-Doctoral Research Associates working on Plastics: Redefining Single-Use.
Peter is a sociologist of Science and Technology with an interest in the ways individual agency, work, and diversity are configured and valued in different sociotechnical systems and domains e.g. healthcare, safety work, and disability.
His doctoral thesis (Lancaster, 2019), based on ethnographic fieldwork, explored the design and provision of assistive technologies for dis/abled people within the UK’s public healthcare systems.
For Plastics: Redefining Single-Use, Peter’s work focused on the ways plastic use and disposal are linked to the safe and equitable delivery of high-quality healthcare services in primary and secondary care organisations.
