Understanding the role of climate in arctic browning: consequences of climate change and extreme climatic events

Grantham Scholar Murk Memon is now a scientist in Vegetation-Climate Interactions at the Met Office. At the Grantham Centre, Murk researched climate change modelling and governance, and Arctic ecology and policy.

Outreach

Along with other Grantham Scholars, Murk featured in a series of films made by Curious Earth on Instagram. The films showcased 20 female scientists and asked them, ‘what advice would you give your younger self?’.
