As part of EU Sustainable Energy Week, the Grantham Centre for Sustainable Futures and Energy2050 is hosting a Sustainable Energy Walking Tour at lunchtime on Friday 17 June.

Find out about sustainable energy research on solar, energy storage, and bioenergy with visit to our labs and facilities on your lunch break.

Join us for a walk between Sheffield Solar, the Anaerobic Digestion lab in the Bioincubator, and a battery lab in the Sir Frederick Mappin Building.

The tour begins outside the Students’ Union at 12pm and will be guided by Christian Unger, Grantham Research Fellow and Co-Chair of the Carbon Neutral University Network.

The event is open to all students, staff and the general public. Admission is free but must be reversed via Eventbrite. The tour is limited to 15 people so book your ticket quickly!
