Recycle pens to raise money for brain cancer research

You can now recycle pens through the Volunteering Office in the Students’ Union. Pens go in bulk to a recycling scheme which donates 2p per item to Brain Tumour Research and Support.

All brands and materials of biro, felt tip, marker, highlighter, mechanical pencil and correction fluid bottles can be recycled. Items not accepted: wooden pencils, wax crayons, glue sticks, erasers, rulers or scissors.

Items welcome from anywhere…schools/youth groups/craft clubs etc. – please bring any pens otherwise destined for the bin.

Find the Volunteering Office in the Activities Zone (behind Coffee Revs) at the Students’ Union.

Monday-Friday 10:00-17:00.

Rescue pens from the rubbish and raise funds for cancer research!

Also, don’t forget the fab range of facilities at the Recycling Hub in the Students’ Union (situated near Our Zero Waste Shop). You can recycle: batteries, mobile phones, printer cartridges, books, clothes and bras!
